Machinist / EDM Operator Level II

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Machinist / EDM Operator for a First Shift position. This role is responsible for the setup and operation of a variety of machine tools and the execution of machining work according to specifications detailed in Company documents.

Responsibilities

• Efficient and accurate setup and operation of machines to ensure components are processed as outlined in engineering drawings.
• Interpretation of drawings and sketches to determine appropriate working procedures.
• Inspection of work using a variety of precision measurement tools to ensure adherence to specifications.
• Selection and grinding of tools in accordance with the hardness, machinability, and other properties of the materials to be machined.
• Performance of regular preventive equipment maintenance and the maintenance of a clean, organized work area.
• Adherence to supervisor instructions, department procedures, and Company policies.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as Machinist required.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings and utilizing measurement instruments.
• Ability to work for prolonged periods on feet, including frequent lifting, twisting, standing, stooping, and bending.
• Requirements include pre-employment physical, drug and alcohol screening, and background check.

Pay Range: $26.00 – $34.00 per hour (commensurate with experience)

Industrial Maintenance & Wastewater System Operator

We are currently looking for an ideal candidate that has industrial maintenance & wastewater experience.

Job Requirements

• Candidates should demonstrate good work ethic, be dependable, have good judgement, and be a team player.
• Requires mechanical ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and remedy machine/equipment failure.
• Hands-on repair as required, perform preventative maintenance on machine/equipment.
• Duties also include facility & grounds maintenance (i.e. building and roof repair, painting, snow removal).
• Minor plumbing, wiring, and welding work may be required (Industrial License/Certification preferred).
• A Grade 3 or higher Industrial Wastewater certification preferred, as defined by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Candidates with a Grade 2 certificate are required to complete the training program within the first year of employment.
• Physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive movement and lift 50–65 lbs. are required for most roles.
• Must follow instructions from supervisor and adhere to all department procedures and Company policies.
• Valid Driver’s License is required
• Pre-employment Physical, Drug & Alcohol, and Background Screening required.

This role is expected to work overtime (40 plus hours per week), some weekends, and on-call as needed.

• Must have reliable transportation.
• Mechanical ability, prior manufacturing and forklift experience are a plus.

Entry Level Compensation depending on relevant experience, 19.00 – 22.00/hour
